It tells the story of how Upin and Ipin along with their friends become trapped in a mystical keris that they found in Tok Dalang's storeroom and are transported to a kingdom of Inderaloka. While searching for a way back to Kampung Durian Runtuh, they help restore the kingdom to its former glory. Their adventure brings them to meet various popular local folklore characters including Mat Jenin, Si Tanggang, Bawang Putih Bawang Merah, and Belalang.
