Two ways to do it
Sign in, open your profile, and press delete my account at the bottom of the page. You type your username to confirm, and it’s done — the account and everything in it is gone immediately, with no undo. Want a copy of your library first? Download it from the Export tab before you go.
Can’t sign in — lost the password, no longer have the Google account you signed up with, or acting for someone else? Use the form below. No sign-in needed. We’ll email the address on the account to confirm it’s really you, then delete it, and tell you when it’s done — within 30 days, usually much sooner. You can also simply email privacy@omlist.com.
Request deletion
What deletion removes
Either way, deleting your account removes:
- your profile and username
- every rating, ranking and private note
- your custom lists, and any blend you own (for all its members)
- your friendships and friend requests
- your votes on covers and portraits
- connected third-party accounts, such as Spotify
- your sign-in record — the account itself
Everything leaves our live systems the moment the deletion runs; as our Privacy Policy notes, residual copies can take up to 30 days to clear.
What stays
- Issue reports you filed stay on file, with your account id and email removed from them.
- If an import you ran added a title to Omlist's shared catalog, that catalog entry stays — it's factual metadata, not personal data.
- Copyright notices, counter-notices and other legal notices we received are kept in full as legal records.
- The deletion request itself is kept as a record of the request and how we answered it, as privacy law asks.
The full statement is in our Terms of Service (section 32, “Account Termination”).
