Dah-In Hyun is an ordinary student at Saint Marie's Catholic School, where the students and teachers have, suddenly, become the pawns and knights upon an unconventional chessboard. But joining the chess game requires more than intellectual savvy--Dah-In finds herself caught in a battle between good and evil. Through the death of her best friend, Dah-In learns that she has been chosen as one of the soldiers in a conflict that could result in her own death.
