A new version of the LST program, suitable for upper elementary school students, has recently been developed. It contains material for a total of 24 classes (8 classes per year) to be taught during either the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades or the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. The LST program was developed by Dr. Gilbert J. Botvin, a leading expert on drug abuse prevention.
