It is July 1209, and a young girl named Alais is given a book said to contain the secret of the true Grail. Without fully understanding it, she knows that is her destiny to protect the secret of the labyrinth, which stretches back thousands of years. July 2005, and Alice Tanner stumbles upon two skeletons in an archaeological dig. Stepping into the tomb, Alice sets in motion a sequence of events that will lead her to realise that her destiny is inextricably tied up with the fate of the cathars 800 years before.
