Trail Of The Walker is a memoir of the unique and colorful adventures of Kevin Brown through his passion for chasing black bear, mountain lion, and bobcats through the rugged mountains of North Idaho. He is also a meticulous hunting dog trainer and a proficient tracker of game. Several of these stories were published in Full Cry Magazine over the course of two and a half years. The final submission--"ON HOLD"--marked the turning point towards a new direction of urgency. Kevin reveals through several decades of hunting his dogs--how he eventually becomes an advocate for the support and preservation of the very wildlife he used to hunt; challenging Wildlife Services and the Fish and Game in their exploits and decimation of big game and all wildlife in the state of Idaho. Not having killed anything for over a decade, he still trains and runs through the woods with his Walkers and Bluetick hounds... but has now replaced his gun with a camera. These stories are true and accurate. The names have not been changed.
