Nicole Vitarelli's local cable TV cooking show, A Taste of Romance, has gained a nice following, and her producer suggests she have the boyfriend she talks about appear on the show. The problem is, he's imaginary! Jeremy Perez, Nicole's neighbor, is trying to keep a low profile and distance himself from his famous family. When Nicole asks him to play the part of her boyfriend, he reluctantly agrees - in exchange for some home-cooked meals.
