Feminism means that women and girls should have equal human rights with men and boys, and equal roles and responsibilities in society. The past hundred years have seen the word 'feminism' enter the popular language and witnessed dramatic changes in the lives of women worldwide. Nevertheless it is still difficult to find societies where women and men are treated completely equally. This book looks at the history of feminism and communism have had on feminism.
