In Tangier, disgraced American war correspondent Paul Kenyon has little luck in attracting the attention of Rita, a cafe dancer from Madrid, despite the help of Pepe, a young local entrepreneur. Rita has Dolores, her friend and associate, perform in her place so that she can search the room of Adolfo Fernandez, a Nazi diamond smuggler she is determined to bring to justice.
