When the handsome Baron Breck von Linden offered Siran a job which would involve staying in his fairytale home, the Castle of the Seven Liiacs in the Austrian mountains, he explained that it was out of gratitude for a service she had done him — but Siran knew very well that there was more to it than that. She had been attracted to the Baron from the first, and she couldn't help knowing that he felt the same about her. But Breck's younger brother Kurt made no secret of his opinion of Siran and her motives.
