~ tracking down this book ~
One of the most interesting investigations Poirot dealt with involved the deaths that occurred upon the opening of the King Men-her-Ra tomb, which was publicized in local newspapers. John Williard who conducted the discovery died of heart failure. His rich associate, Mr Bleibner, died of heart poisoning a fortnight later, while his nephew, Rupert committed suicide in New York. In the eyes of the public the string of such incidents could only be part of the curse of Men-her-Ra.
