As we reach toward new visions of the future, our reach also has to go back into our past to find ways to touch that which is eternal. To me the Runes are a way of doing that. The call of the future is to a blending of spirit and earth and humanity, and is both very practical and very prophetic. We need to touch the shaman within us, the part that can make the synthesis. The Runes, particularly western as they are, can help us to do this with they are a tool for envisioning our future.
