The Solids are an American pop/rock band from Middletown, Connecticut. The band consists of Carter Bays, Craig Thomas (drums), Patrick Butler (keyboards), Doug Derryberry and Josh Suniewick (bass). They have been writing, recording, and performing music since 1996.
