Something Else is the third studio album by American R&B singer Robin Thicke, released on September 30, 2008. A follow-up to The Evolution of Robin Thicke (2006) and recorded with longtime collaborator Pro-Jay, the album combines live instrumentation and influences from classic Philadelphia soul, Motown, and 1970s disco, while its lyrics broaden Thicke's focus from personal introspection to themes of social inequality, relationships, empathy, and hope.
